We’re convinced that Disneyland missed us last year when we went to Universal instead. On checking into the Grand Californian (Robin won’t stay anywhere else), we were informed that Mickey had “left a message” for us. It was a signed Mickey photo and some balloons! And when we found our room, there was extra candy waiting for us. Yay!

Tomorrow, I'm off to Disneyland with my friend Robin for Gay Days and other non-specific frivolity. Our red shirts this year will simply read, "Cheerleader", in rainbow colors. Only been back from Cincinnati for a week, and I’m already planning my next vacation. Disneyland, for Gay Days, at the end of September. We took a pass on Gay Days last year to go to Universal Studios instead and we really missed it. I think it’s official. No Gay Days at Disneyland for us this year.

Instead, we’re going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Islands of Adventure Orlando.

If I were any more excited, I’d pee.

I will be buying a wand.  Oh yes.

I’m back from Anaheim, and feeling surprisingly good. No sunburn, my feet are in good shape, and I only have one new railing-shaped bruise. I’m a bit tired, but nothing a few nights of good sleep won’t fix. More importantly, I had A LOT of fun!
